Once you take the elevator up from the entrance to the Hudson Hotel, you’ll find Henry, a Liquor Bar. It’s a stylish bar that has a wide open feel that could be great for a get-together, a date, or for mingling. There are many plush couches, tables, and seats, and also a random light-up sofa chair…? In any case, the drinks served here are solid; the bartenders can also make you a drink based on your alcohol of choice, though they’re not speakeasy quality. Service is attentive, and drinks and napkins are cleared away quickly and inconspicuously. Coat check is available.

Drinks: Great.
Space: This was the Hudson Bar. The have redesigned it to make it less clubby. It has more of a living room feel with the same eclectic design style. It is a very expansive space with chairs and coaches with built in lamps where the dance floor used to be.
Scene: Very cozy and sleek lounge bar. The lounge is a large open space that is conducive to mixing and mingling. The space is intimate think: mood lighting, eclectic couches, and no reserved table business :) Good for get-togethers and date night.
Crowd: Afterwork scene. Surprisingly not the usual touristy crowd that the Hudson usually attracts.
Service: Very attentive and courteous!
