I just got off the phone with a lady (Candy) who was very pleasant and professional. I wanted to get a quote for a frameless shower door. I was transferred to her son (Jonathan) who was able to give me an intial quote within 5 minutes. I also asked for a quote for a few glass shelves and was able to get those over the phone in a matter of minutes. I made an appointment for measurements and ended the conversation on a very positive note. Very polite, and helpful.

I would recommend this place over Action Glass, who ignores my phone calls about an appointment I had made with them that they didn't show for.

Very pleased with Prisma Glass & Mirror Inc so far. I will update this review regarding the measurement and installation.

Update on April 10th 2015:
A few days after our initial call, Johnathan and a co-worked (I forgot the name, sorry!) came and took measurements. Two weeks latery, they did the installation. Everything went smoothly and it was noticeable that they were prepared and took their time with the process. They answered all of my questions, and shared a few insights. They even gave me a free glass cleaner, one that they recommended. The next day, after further inspection, we noticed that the top of the glass door and adjascent panel we're not completely aligned. We called and were able to have them come back and make the adjustment.

The installation came out great and the glass looks absolutely amazing. Really happy with the outcome, and would recommend this company to anyone.

Don't bother. I called to get a general estimate, I had detailed measurements for a frameless shower door enclosure and had already had it measured and estimated by two other shops. While ultimately they may do a nice job I never got that far. Everything was a problem with the woman who answers the phone. I mean EVERYTHING. Its as if you are bothering them. Every item or thing I mentioned she had to complain about it or tell me why it wouldn't work. She is rude and not at all customer-service oriented.

I would recommend checking with Action Glass or Touch of Glass in Brooklyn.

got a quote from them to install 260 SF of mirror. 2 weeks later, when the site was ready, they came & took accurate measurements. turns out, it was only 240 SF, but they told me the price was $150 more, due to the cost of glass going up 5 cents a SF (which actually works out to $12 in this case.) after arguing about it for 20 minutes and talking to 'the boss,' and actually got them to offer to honor the original price, i suggested they be more honest in the future, and not try to suck a few more dollars out of a client at the last minute, when they think there are no other options. they are not the only game in town, and i won't give them my business again.
