We have eaten here many times when we travel to NY. This time it was terrible. I had the chicken with roasted sweet potatoes and seasonal vegetables. From the first bite, all I could taste was garlic. It was not at all expected and was not at all welcome. There was no other flavor at all. Our waiter was AWOL. Bread is no longer served with your meal. It has to be ordered separately. Is the restaurant under new management? New Chef? Very disappointing. The noise level is thunderous. Conversation is nearly impossible.

Had a nice table, not as noisy as some reviewers noted.
Waiter was good, again contrary to what others have said.
Appetizers ordered - Red Snapper Ceviche - good but not as exciting as my partner had hoped; I had the parmesan flan with wild mushrooms and it was delicious!
Then we waited for entree's, and waited and waited some more. The waiter came over and apologized, there was a mix up. Then the manager came over and apologized. Then when they did bring it out the manager again apologized and offered to have us as their guest. It was above and beyond the expectation. My wife had the monk fish and she was delighted, I had the red cabbage ravioli and while hers was more exciting mine was very nice.
Overall a lovely evening that could have been miserable had it not been for the hospitality of the manager and staff.
Good food in an out of the way place.

Food was really good, but this place is more of a hotel bar. It's loud and the table we had me sitting very far from my wife. To hear each other over the noise we had to lean in and scream. Service wasn't terrible, but it took too long to take our order, bring our food, check, and change.
Google only has a 5 star system and the food alone here would probably get 4 stars. The lamb was great and a huge portion. The grilled octopus appetizer was really tasty and plentiful. Chickpeas were a nice touch. The fish was just OK, nothing special and not a great portion size. Dessert was really good (I forget exactly what it was in it, but the whipped cream was the best part)
The bread is delicious, but costs $5. Really? Things like this, and the overall feel of the place gave it 3 stars, but the food by itself would get 4.

Went there for Saturday brunch. The kouign-Amann was amazing. Food good, but unfortunately was overshadowed by the half-assed service: after we got our food the waitress never came back to check on us or bring something I asked for. Bad service makes the whole meal bad, so I don't anticipate going back.

Outstanding service and exceptional food. Highly recommended! Waves to Cedric, our waiter who took great care of us.
