Prince Lumber

My boss buy there often. Is understandable any one can have a bad day. Guys behind desk are alway busy no only with costumers in front of them. They have to deal with incoming calls from costumers, delivery truck guys and inventory issues. Field guys (who give you the materials) always do they best and you no have to touch the material until you download by your projet. They load for you. Guy wich i interact they always say something as hi, hello, good morning, etc. Keep working hard and hope they know about this review. Apologize for my english wich isn't my first language.

Great selection, good quality and knowledgeable sales people. So it's a little expensive but remember we're in Manhattan not in Iowa!

Horrible Customer Service (recently) - in particular at the desk where you order and pay, lots of unnecessary attitude and a lack of professionalism. The cutting guys have to be talked through each cut so that they make straight cuts and match the requested sizes. There are less guys on hand to cut, than in previous years. Prince Lumber was really good in the 90's, and I have only come across these problems in the past 6 months. I wrote a letter to management and they promptly responded and apologized. So hopefully they will tighten up their ship and restore the quality and professionalism that they used to offer.

I run a theater company at an NYC high school. We've been using Prince Lumber for over a decade and have found them super reliable and courteous.

This weekend, there was a clerical error, and our lumber order was not delivered.

I spoke to Neil over the phone, and he immediately sprang into action, got the lumber on a truck, got the lumber order to us within an hour, and the students were able to get on with building their set for our fall production.

I have been dealing with Prince Lumber for Years. My go to guy is AJ!
I call with big orders and small orders, and they never say no, EVER.
I'm a general contractor in NYC and to have material brought to the job site on call is amazing. Call AJ and he will get it done. Prince Lumber is AMAZING.
