This is a solid neighborhood restaurant food-wise. I've been numerous times. The service can be hit and miss. The Sukrut Garnie was a delicious combination of assorted sausages and sauerkraut. The steak frites was also very good. This time the service was very good.

One of my favorite meals of all time is from here. The food is amazing and the wait staff are great. Aziz likes it...what else do you need.

Dined here on a quiet weeknight during the holiday season. Service from our waiter was sporadic, hence it's not my favorite Court Street restaurant. Otherwise, we shared an enjoyable meal with friends. Aside from the main attraction (the meat!), the spatzle was delicious and so was the kale and goat cheese salad.

I would give it a 4.5* if I could. Excellent food. We split frisee salad, then husband had burger with blue cheese and bacon. Fries were terrific. I had Thuringer sausage and sauerkraut. Large portions. Service was pleasant but slow (probably kitchen issue) with big gap between salad and main. Only other complaint is that my martini was odd. Had a faintly greenish tinge (I think they made it "dirty" with brine from some kind of special olive) and served it in coupe glass. Don't like "dirty" and I don't like coupe glasses for my martinis.

The Steak Frites, Amish Chicken and the Hampshire Pork Chop were all cook to perfection. For lunch, the Roast Beef sandwich comes with a nicely toasted bread. The dark ale was really full body and great with everything. The décor is rustic and elegant!
