Prime & Beyond was my first Korean steakhouse experience. I'm not really sure what exactly makes it Korean, save for a few Korean dishes like bibimbap and bulgogi. Other than that, the steaks are cooked American style.
The place is small but it wasn't too packed for a Wednesday night. It also happened to be Christmas Eve Eve and it was pouring, so I'm not sure how busy it can get a normal weekday.
They have a family-style menu, which features your choice of steak (prices vary between different cuts and they go by pounds). We ordered the porterhouse and the wet-aged boneless steak. This also includes green salad, potato salad, grilled veggies, and ice cream. Nothing exciting. We did the math afterwards and realized it would have been cheaper/more worth it if we had just ordered individual steaks instead.
While the steak was pretty good, I'm not sure if it was good enough to make me come back here again. I'm sure there are equally good, if not better steak out there for a better price.

Came here for a family lunch last year and I can still remember the steak. Top notch steak.
This was my family's first time going for lunch and we were a little down since the lunch menu is a bit limited. No worries, we asked the owner if we could look at the dinner menu and he said that we could order whatever we wanted! He even made great suggestions and filled us in on the back story of the business. Many of the recipes came from his Mom (as it should be!) who was still very involved in the day to day cooking operations.
It's been a while and writing this review is making me hungry for dry aged steak again!

I've been here twice and haven't been disappointed. You get the quality of an upscale steakhouse, with the casual laid back atmosphere of cafe. The first time I came here I the owner/chef Q took the time to take our order and make suggestions which really struck me. I've never had the chef let alone owner of an establishment come out and talk to me before. His recommendations were on point, we had the dry aged T-bone for two along with the dry aged lamb chops.
The second time I made it out here, Q wasn't around. Understandable, he's probably taking care of new location that just opened up on 10th Ave in the city. We couldn't pass up the lamb chops again (they're that good), we also ordered the porterhouse for two along with the kimchi and grilled veggies. Needless to say, we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces as well as plans to come again in the not too distant future.
Everything's comparably priced to some of the high end steakhouses out there when it comes to steaks, however the sides are very reasonably priced and the Fort Lee location is a BYO, which makes this place a win-win in my book.
