Reviews to Precision Painting Plus of Nassau County
We at WSPT (a physical therapy practice located in the Bronx) recently had a renovation project for our new location. After several interviews with contractors we decided to hire Precision Painting. From our first walk through with Ken Sanford, we knew we could not have made a better decision. He provided concise, accurate, fair estimates and timelines. Precision was willing to work within our tight time frame. As soon as demo began we knew we had hired an exceptional company. The workers arrived on time every day, no down time and finished the project well within schedule. Ken was on-site regularly to insure everything happened without a hitch. They provided a final walk through after all subcontractors had finished their work for final approval. Working with Precision Painting and specifically with Ken was a pleasure and helped a very ambitious project happen seamlessly for WSPT. Thank you Precision Painting and Ken - when office #4 happens we’ll we back to you.

Great personal care and expert advice! They quoted me a price that was a third less than a competitor--and they did more. They advised on color and finish and even on crown moulding for the historic brownstone. Positive and friendly people made the whole experience fun.

I was on a pretty tight timetable to get into my house. They sent someone out pretty quickly, and compared to the rest of the price quotes I received, they were in the middle. However, they promised to do it the fastest, so I booked with them.
Once they got there, the foreman told me that "trim work" was not the same as the windows. What?!? Turns out, that the way they count it, inside the window boxes is different, and it was not included in my estimate. I'm sure the estimator knew I was looking for it to be included in the price, but with the guys already at work in my house, it was past the time of negotiating.
The estimator also GROSSLY underestimated the cost of the paint for my house.
All in all, I ended up paying about $3K MORE than I had budgeted for -- about 50% more than their original quote.
I'd love to say that the paint job was first rate, but here speed trumped quality, and many surfaces that I had expected to be sanded (again, something discussed with the estimator) were just hastily painted over, leaving pock mocks.
Never again!
