Preakness Restaurant & Diner

We eat at this diner often.. The food is great the service is great. The owners are very pleasant and we really enjoy going there. Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are perfect! Love this diner!!

The place is awesome. Food is better then all places in wayne I love this place .owners are also very friendly and appreciate your business. I come here at least twice a week.

My wife and I went to the diner Monday evening, and we had a delicious meal. A flavorful skirt steak, cooked to perfection, served with grilled vegetables and rice, reasonably priced. With the meal, we had the most savory beef barley soup, and a spring salad, decorated with strawberries, oranges, pecans and blue cheese. With their homemade raspberry, vinaigarette dressing. My wife and I have not enjoyed a meal as satisfying in a long time. I might add that the lovely waitress was warm, friendly and efficient. What a wonderful dining experience in a very homey atmosphere.

I've been coming here for years the food and staff is very friendly and family oriented. The food is amazing and keeps getting better everytime I come back. Anything you order you'll love! Waitresses and waiters are very friendly.
They must get that from the owners mom. You can usually find her behind the register and seating people. Always has a big smile .love it love it love it. Breakfast is always fast and dinners I can enjoy time time with my father since I don't see him much since I went away to college. Must have the sizzling steak.

First off, the waitress that served doesn't really want to work there anymore...and it shows. She was irritated that there were customers.

The food was awful. I'm not sure how long the bacon had been out...but it was precooked and was like cardboard. Pancakes were not good either. On top of the bad food and the horrible attitude ...it was definitely overpriced. This place was great...many moons ago. Not sure what happened, but I won't be returning anytime soon.
