Powerhouse Gym of Old Bridge

it's ok. I go for the classes. I'm not into body building. I don't like the enhancement fee every July but for $20 (half of RWJ across the street) you can't beet how convenient it is to get to. It would be better if the A/C was working. it's good to be comfortable when working out. I'm not there too long as I do my class and I leave.

I wanted to try this gym when I lived in the area and it took them weeks to try out the gym. And the day after I signed up, I cancel the membership and some girl lost the paperwork. I do not know how you lose paperwork.They are very unorganized. And they charged my account a day after I cancel, and I am still disputing the charges against them. Based on their price, I am HAPPY I went to Retro. Go somewhere else! Stay away from the place because the same thing happened to other people. For this price, I rather go with NYSC than this gym.

I signed up in February of 2016 and wanted to be month-to-month. Not only is it over $42.97 for this option, they was 2 MONTHS notice. PLUS I had to pay a sign-up fee of $150.00. Ridiculous. But I sign-up with good intentions. I am getting charged every month and all of a sudden, another charge for $29.99 appears on my account as an "ENHANCEMENT FEE". What is that? No warning, no mention of this fee and it is annual? And I have not been there for a year yet? They are on drugs. And the gym smells. Your nose gets used it after about 45 seconds. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER POWERHOUSE GYM. Retro Fitness down the street is $9.95 per month with none of these hassles and hidden fees. GOOD BYE POWERHOUSE.

AC is not working at all, when I spoke to staff they said it's supposed to be like that, instead of AC, thermostat is showing the heat is ON and 75 degrees. Humidity is so high and can't even breath in there. Stinks like used socks and sweat. Guys (manager, staff etc.) you gotta do something with this BIG issue!

An amazing gym. Very large. Nice machines. Friendly staff. What more can you ask for?
