Power Moves Gymnastics and Fitness

Power Moves is everything I have always wanted for my kids, and I couldn't ask for more. I feel safe leaving my kids in such a caring, nurturing and inspiring environment. Its location is central enough for me to run errands or go back home and then come back for my children (nice and exhausted). My kids love it there and I would recommend that everyone award their children the experience. Power Moves adds a nice little touch to the community and as a former gymnast myself I will always advocate the opportunity for little ones to gain spatial awareness through gymnastics.

Great place for my kids! Feels like a family there :) Prices are affordable, staff is friendly/invested, and it's great to have their presence in the community.

Good afternoon, my daughter participated in a trial gymnastics class last Friday. We were excited about joining a Black owned and operated establishment. The opportunity to be surrounded by other children and staff of color in a body conscious sport was important to us. We were disappointed by the experience though. It was tough to sit and watch the class considering all that occurred. The class was overcrowded, the floor seemed unsafe and not leveled, the equipment was tightly packed into a small place, an exposed space heater was on and in the middle of the parent observation area and the children's cubbies, the class groups were cramped, the teachers seemed exhausted, lacked enthusiasm and engagement with the children, and one staff was obviously irritated with one student as evidenced in her angry tone when loudly addressing him. She even commented to me that there are a few "special needs children" in the program so perhaps a different day/class would be better. We were hoping to sign up for weekly classes but the comfort level we were seeking, excitement, warmth and professionalism was missing, so we will not be back. Thank you for offering the trial class.

Very good gymnastics program for pre K aged children. Reasonable rates as well.
