Similar to what others have said it really depends on who is making your sandwich. I was taking a walk and this was the only place I saw open and wanted to try their sandwiches. I've had them before in DC and knew I was a fan. The staff there was really nice and quick but the sandwich was just alright. I wouldn't recommend against going there but there are better options for a similar price all over the city.

Food quality vastly depends on the person making the sandwich, couple of times where the initial clerk that preps the sub completely gets its wrong. And then there are other times when it's perfect.

While I like potbelly food, this particular store is pretty subpar.
1. The people serving you seem very lazy and impatient. 2. They randomly close early, wtf? It says on the door that they close at 8pm on weekdays, yet the store was completely closed by 7:10pm. This just reinforces my point that they're lazy.

I love their multigrain bread and you can have the "big" version for an less than 1 dollar more. The stuffing are wonderful and the price is unbeatable - not to mention its cozy setting and an incredible view on the boardwalk facing Hudson and Manhattan!!!
