Terrible service. Chicken tenders were under-fried and were soggy.

Good food, nice employees but horrible night shift Manager he is very rude.

Nothing really separates this Popeye's from any other really. The chicken was hot and ready for me on Super Bowl gameday 2013. My friends were happy with my "bucket of chicken" contribution to the pot luck. The bucket travels well and the chicken didn't get too cold even 20-minutes later on a blisteringly cold February evening. I mean, decent fried chicken by a non-chain store isn't easy to come by in NYC. Correct me if i'm wrong but in NYC we get 2 choices - it's either KFC or Popeye's really. I know there are a few random spots in Brooklyn but they don't do it for me really. Just a novelty. It's a toss up between Popeye's crisp skin and KFC's blend of 7 herbs and spices. Damn, i'm getting hungry now...

The staff behind the glass window at the counter was having a good old time laughing and gossiping about something or other. I dunno, inhaling all that fried chicken vapor probably makes you high...and After that, it's probably another good time to eat some Popeye's...
