Great for a nice swim when leaving the city seems to be too expensive or is just not an option. Water could be a little cleaner, but won't complain. It's free!

The pop up pool is a wonderful thing. There is a little stand to grab something to eat. They're respectful people, it's great

Public pools in NYC are pretty gross but the pop up pool at Brooklyn Bridge Park is actually pretty clean. However, you can't swim in the pool for too long but it's free at least. You get a wristband that allows you about 45 min of pool time. You can go back for multiple shifts though. The fake beach is pretty cool though. There is sand, beach chairs, and umbrellas. There's a small cafe that sells snacks and drinks so you can pretend you're at the beach. All in all, it's a more interesting experience than a typical public pool in NYC.
