Sunnyside was in need of some good Italian, so glad SoleLuna has opened. Dazies is overpriced and old fashioned, and Venturo is of course good, but SoleLuna fills a different role, offering a more rustic and authentic menu of FRESH ingredients.
What is better than walking into a family run business with friendly faces and kids hanging out in the back, heading out just in time for the dinner rush. Awesome.
Fave beans with baby kale small plate--amazing. And the seafood special last night (shrimp, scallop, calamari skewers) was spot on and fresh.
And since it was our anniversary, we may have gotten two bottles of wine, still feeling like it was an incredible value and experience for our celebration. Hoping to achieve regular status!
