Polo Steakhouse

We had reservations for the Polo Steak House today July 9, 2015 for lunch, called to readjust the time when we arrive we were seated in the Polo Lounge (it was horrible), it was cramped, and very loud you would think we were in a low end bar. We were told the Polo Steak house was closed and the staff was off also, why were the reservations made we should have been informed it was closed. No one every bothered to ask how our dinning experience was. So let me tell you it was 100% horrible, I will be sure to tell everyone to go elsewhere. Extremely disappointed, bad service, very overpriced.

Very lucky to have a good steak house in Garden City. Really good service, great food, and wine. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a special night out. That said, the only reason I didn't give polo 5 stars is its very expensive....more expensive than a New York steak house. Expect $150 - $200 per person with wine (low end on list).

Great rib eye. Great Caesar salad. Well worth the money.
