This is my go to place for quick delish polish bites. Best fried cod on the weekends. Owners are incredibly nice. Share extra bites always amazing service. Happy this kind of place still exists in new york.

Get your authentic Polish products here while this place is still in existence. In the 80s and 90s, this was one of a dozen real Polish places in the neighborhood, along with their Ukrainian counterparts. Now this is the ONLY grocer left here in the Lower East Side. These places still exist in New York but you will have to trek out to Greenpoint and now even further to Maspeth as gentrification is pushing the Polish community out further.
Kabanos (dried sausage) is excellent here, as well as stuffed cabbage (heat and eat). If you like Paczki (polish doughnuts) they have them on display out front. They have other small candies and non-perishables from Poland.
