Besides the historic significance, Poe park is just a great park to bring your kids to. They renovated the park and gave it new life. So many good memories I have growing up in this park. I know I'm not the only one. Did I mention one of the coolest poets has a cottage that you can visit and go inside (per appointment). That alone should give you enough reason to show some love to this park while you're visiting the Bronx.
