Pizzetteria Brunetti

Possibly the best pizza in NY. See my reviews, I don't say this lightly. Italian, neopolitan-style pizza in a variety of combinations with perfect crust. Forno de legno and all that. True Italian place. Friendly, service can be a bit slow at times but always gracious and positive.

Quiet rear garden seating. I'll be back.

Noisy, but has outdoor seating and accommodated us eventually. Pizza is delicious but be careful of too many toppings!

Decent enough Italian / Neapolitan style pizza, although the quality of the mozzarella could be better - you can tell partly by the colour. They apparently make their fior di latte in house, which is commendable, but I suspect are hampered by the quality of milk in the US. They also import a buffalo mozzarella, and I ordered the pizza with that on, but I think they slightly fudged our order and ended up giving that to someone else, as my margherita was indistinguishable from my neighbour's who had ordered the regular version.

There was some outdoor seating in a little garden area at the back which was pleasant enough. Service left a bit to be desired - our waiter was a bit grumpy (despite seemingly being Italian, he seemed to have been infected with the New York bad attitude disease).

This tiny little restaurant is a great way to spend an evening in New York. The pizza is well-made and delicious, and the staff is expedient and attentive. I had the margarita pizza and it's definitely one of the better ones I've had.

Tasty and fresh food. Great place and great service! Will come back for sure!!
