Worst pizza experience in all my years in New York! I ordered a large cheese pie with extra cheese, simple, right? Wrong! The delivery guy brings the pie and the cheese is all on left side of box, so I call and ask for a new pie in exchange for the messed up one. So about 15 minutes later my new pie comes and cheese is on pizza but bottom is completely burned. I didn't even bother calling for the second time. I would never order from here again and I strongly recommend you don't either. I've had better pizza in North Carolina. Horrible, very unsatisfied. My family loves pizza and the kids wouldn't touch it. Waste of time and money!

STAY AWAY. I have severe food allergies and when I asked someone if there were any nuts in their pesto sauce I was told no, but after two bites into my pasta I immediately got an allergic reaction and when I alerted a steff member about it their only response was "oh, I wasn't sure if there were actually nuts in it." Without any type of remorse or apology for the fact that I could have died. Aside from that horrible experience, the chefs seemed to be making constant rude and inappropriate remarks toward the female servers well within earshot which just further made me uncomfortable. I will never be returning again.

This place was featured on Throwdown with Bobby Flay. We ordered the calamari and zucchini sticks for appetizers. We also ordered the Naso (1st place for spiciest pie) and the Variopinta (white pie that won on Throwdown with Bobby Flay). The pies were tasty, with the spicy pie being a little bit spicy. I would just skip the appetizers. The staff was very nice and attentive as well. I would return if I'm ever in Staten Island again.

Pizzeria Giove specializes in crispy thin-crust pies, so if that's your jam, you won't be disappointed. Toppings are Italian-influenced with a modern twist, so you'll get things like sausage & sopressatta pizza with a splash of Tabasco, or pancetta, straciatella & zucchini.

Try the Toscano pizza it's to die for and the best tiramisu anywhere.
