Good food but really bad service. ...

I have been a customer of Pio Pio for a long time. I was an avid promoter of the Peruvian Restaurant even though I am Ecuadorian. I have eaten virtually in every Pio Pio in Manhattan in Queens and I started going to the Bronx Location. You can tell the quality decrease right away in terms of service, food quality. Last time was the worst. I used to buy a whole chicken with fries and soda to go.

Last time the chicken had a very bad smell, I tried for a bit and then I realize it was really bad. It was green and smell like rotten. Remember that it is supposed to be grilled. Anyway, my wife and I threw everything in the garbage. She said well at least I have the 3 leches. That was the worst, it has also bad and had a smell. They served us with rotten food.

I can understand many things, the bad service, food quality but I can´t understand how, you put in danger the health of people just to make a quick buck. I used to buy at least every week, now everytime I think about it, I feel sick remembering that awful smell. Hope you correct it.

Food is really good, along with big portions. 4 starts because service/waiter is kinda slow, place is small, and its hard to find parking around there.

The waiter was very rude and unprofessional. I went with my family to have a good time but the waiter keep rushing us and he did not ask how we want our steak cooked . food was cold and he even came back to ask for tip after this bad experience. I will never comeback or recommend anybody to go there. Take for business somewhere else.

The food is great. Very fast service and friendly atmosphere. Been here many times with family and friends always leave full and have a great time. Oh the sangria is delicious.
