Pinkberry Columbia

This place is crazy expensive! Prices START at $4.75. I guess Columbia students are some rich folks. Self-serv froyo joints elsewhere in the city are likely to offer lower prices with better selection...

It's also a very small shop with limited seating, and you don't even get to make it yourself, which is much of the fun of froyo.

i scream for ice cream! This place is like a fantasy to me - the cones are DIPPED in rice crispy treats!!! you can get a sugar cone with coco pebbles, fruity pebbles or even your standard krispies. Its AMAZING.

The ice cream flavors rotate daily - they taste so FRESH.

It makes me want ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It's ok could be have more variety!

I continuously go to this Pinkberry because it is the closest location to my school, but every time I go I am constantly disappointed. In one of my experiences I went to go and scan my phone to receive my Pinkberry points and one of their scanners on a cash register was not working, so after about four tries they finally figured that out. When I went to go and scan my phone on the other scanner it worked. When I walked up to the counter I received an uncalled eye roll from on of the employees who was suppose to be making my Pinkberry as if it was my fault that one of their scanners was broken, or I was being rude about their scanner not working. I was everything but rude. Another experience I had there scanner was fixed, everything was fine until I got to the counter and the lady started to make my Pinkberry. I will first start off with the fact that the surface where the toppings were was a little dirty, but not too bad. They had toppings in other toppings. Toppings on the surface and then on top of that I was a victim to another topping going into my parfait. On top of that the mango, kiwi and some other fruit (I forgot) was very rotten as if they don't keep their fruit fresh (which they probably don't) and it makes we wonder about all of the other times I got my fruit from them. Personally, I feel like when working at Pinkberry you should have a very upbeat attitude, since its a happy place, I understand that no one is perfect, but if you are having a bad day at least try to put on a fake smile for your customers. And I HATE it when they spell my name wrong, especially since my name is only five letters and it irritates me even more when they ask me to respell my name when it is not really noisy and they still get my name wrong. In addition to that, when I scan my phone it shows my name, so I still don't understand why my name is still spelled wrong. For those reasons I will NEVER go to this Pinkberry again, and I will discourage my friends from going here too, so they won't receive the same crappy service I have.

My husband and I just love Pinkberry. Every time we've been to this location near Columbia University's campus, everyone has been very friendly and helpful. I really love the original flavor and the wide variety of toppings. The only downside is the shop is usually crowded (because Pinkberry is so delicious).
