Pimaan Thai Restaurant

One of my favourite thai places! Love the food and the ambiance!

Best Thai food in the area. Lots of parking and large dining room, also offering take out.

Best thai food we have found in the Bergen county area so far. The price is very comparable with all Thai places I have been to(is there expensive thai food?). I highly recommend it.

Having been to Bangkok numerous times in the past and eaten at many restaurants (and street food) during my stays abroad, I will say the dishes at Pimaan are very "authentic" to what I enjoyed there. It doesn't seem to me that they change the recipes to suit the different cultural tastes here. This is exactly why I like this restaurant as much as I do. I feel as I can enjoy the dishes here exactly the way I would if I were in Thailand. Each time I have eaten here, I have not had a bad experience. It's an intimate, warm, and inviting place to be. I have tried many different places in both nyc and North NJ and I would rate this as the top Thai restaurant in NYC area (yes, even over several places in NYC). Definitely recommend. Also recommend a reservation for dinner, as it gets very crowded. Lunch is usually not a problem.

The place was dark, alittle warm and emplyees were disorganized. The food wasn't great. Softshell crab appetizer wasn't fresh (very fishy). I had to throw out both orders. Also the shrimp was over cooked (dry and chewy).
