Valentine's day dinner was fantastic! Nice cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and the restaurant really feels like a family runs it. I had a great time :)

What a lovely neighbourhood gem!
EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. The octopus stew was so tender. The bottarga pasta was the star of the night. So simple, yet so bold!! By the time the other pasta came out I was stuffed so i took the majority of it to go. I enjoyed the lamb and licked the whole entire plate clean.

This decour was good, except the marble tiles that covered the entire thee walls. The service was good, but could be better. The waiter approached us right away after we sat down to ask if we liked to drink something but he hadn't brought the menu yet. Then he brought the menu but not the wine list. We chose our food but did not know what to have for wine. The food was delicious but did not justify the price. I had the same taste at other Italian restaurants for half the price. For two people, with a bottle of chardonnay, that was $45.00, and two appetizers, we paid $150.00, without the gratuity.

Absolutely delicious. I recently went there after a hiatus of more than 30 years, and everything was delicious and satisfying. Their seafood dishes are standouts. In fact we went there because I had such vivid and fond memories of the grilled red snapper - which I had last enjoyed in 1983! Nothing has changed: The dish remains my favorite fish of all time. Other must tries include the terrifically tender and flavorful grilled octopus and the handmade pasta with grappa. Classic old-school Italian. Great service too. Highly recommended.
