We ordered take out. There was nothing impressive about it. My dish was salty and overcooked and the other dish was blah. Portions were adequate but smallish. Definitely not worth the $19 per dish including tax.
I gave two stars instead of one because we did eat it and the take out service was polite and fairly quick. But I'm not likely to order again at that price.
The restaurant is cute. The chef needs a kick in the pants. All the five star reviews look like fakes planted by the staff.

Didn't like the place at all. The atmosphere is lousy, the staff is stressed out and I waa throwing up the next day. Just the atmosphere... Like everybody would be scared of some horrible boss or sth. Don't recommend. Better Bedford...

I don't know what half these people are talking about but the food and service are absolutely horrible.
My husband & I stopped in as we wanted something close to home and outdoors. We waited more than 40 minutes for our meal. The baked clams were tough and overcooked. My entree, which was the Chicken Rollatina, was bland. No seasonings whatsoever, he had the lamb chops barolo - this dish was drenched in sauce - and it wasn't a good sauce at that. Not once did the wait staff come over to see how everything was. We waited 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared. The couple next to us had french fries & a salad and within 10 minutes of receiving their order, the waitress came over and asked how everything was.
We know good italian food and by no means was this good!!! I would not recommend this place at all!! The wait staff is rude...we always said thank you, but received no You're Welcome in return!!
There are so many better places in the neighborhood

La Terrazza serves delicious Italian food in a warm, cozy environment. The prices are fair, the portions are large, be sure to visit on a Tuesday evening for the Buffet or Sunday Brunch where you get the best bang for your buck! The piano player adds to the ambiance and the outdoor seating is an added bonus for those spring/summer evenings. The location is perfect, and they even offer free parking! The staff is courteous and professional. On special occasions, they do something extra, like give roses to all the women. I would highly recommend! By far, the best Italian restaurant in Forest Hills!
