We are the parents of a 13yr. old autistic boy named Anthony, who has been a patient of Dr.Merlino for the past 7 yrs. We have always had a pleasant experience at Dr. Merlinos office. Anthony is very big for his age and sometimes he is hard to handle, but Dr.Merlino has a way of making Anthony feel very relaxed and comfortable. She is very kind, patient and gentle with him , which is why he is so at ease with her. She also has an excellent support staff who share the same positive qualities as the doctor. I strongly recommend anyone bringing their child to Dr.Merlino.

This is the most professional, clean, and child friendly office. My children love going to the dentist for their bi-annuals. The atmosphere is "child-centric" from the moment they walk into the office through the door just their size!!! To me, Dr. Merlino and her staff exemplify pediatric dental practice. Many folks don't realize it requires specialized training to work with a pediatric population. This office focuses on every detail.

My three year old daughter need extensive work on her teeth. Include two root canals to her front teeth and caps. Dr. Merlino took us in right away. This was a huge deal for us as Dr. Merlino was the 4th dentist we had taken our daugther to see and my daughter had just gone through a tramatic experience with drilling to her teeth while she was awake and was now deathly afraid to even enter a dental office let alone sit in the chair. Dr. Merino detailed a plan to fix her teeth that was immediate and nontramatic, which is what we had been searching for. She did an excellent job and minimized the anxiety involved in the procedure. We continue to drive the extra distance to see her for our 6 month checkups because we value her professional option. She is great with my daughter and she did excellent work. My daughter has beautiful, pain-free teeth for the past two years and I owe that to Dr. Merlino. I high recommend her services for anyone looking for a pediatric dentist. Thank you Dr. Merlino!

Dr. Merlino is a wonderful dentist. She is very professional and knowledgeable about the most current dental procedures. My daughter (who is now 13 years old) has been going to her since she was 2. She explains everything thoroughly to both patient and parent. Dr. Merlino and her staff are some of the warmest professionals I've every had the pleasure of meeting and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any parent looking for a Pediatric Dentist. She and her staff are WONDERFUL people and professionals.

My name is Shawna Troia and I have 2 children under the care of Dr. Merlino and she is by far the best Pediatric dentist I have taken my children to. My son who is 8 was so scared of even the word dentist because of prior bad experiences of another dentist but when he met with Dr. Merlino for his very first visit he was a totally different child from that day on he actually likes going to the dentist. Dr. Merlino fixed all the damage from his previous dentist and I am so pleased with her work. I also just took my 6 year old daughter recently to have her teeth done and she made her feel the same way she did for my son. I cannot believe what I read on here about her doing it for the money because that is all a lie. The office tells you what they will be doind before hand so you know. The whole office staff are just such a pleasure from the second you go in until the second you are leaving. I have told all my friends about Dr. Merlino and hopefully they will go to her because she is a dentist but she is also a mother so she knows what these children are thinking and feeling. I will also like to add how I love how she dosen't just like to drug the children so they sleep for the whole visit like our previous dentist had done with our son, she talks to them and shows them each tool she is using them and even has a cute name so the kids don't get scared. I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Merlino and her staff, so if you read the other review and make your decision based on that then let me tell you that you will miss out on a great dentist.
