I liked the shop's design and I asked if it could be printed on a black hoodie. Initially the shop agreed to get a black hoodie, but he changed his mind later and told me to go buy a black hoodie myself and mail it to him. It sounded shady, but I did it, thinking what could go wrong? Well, something major happened. The design had white texts, but instead of printing those texts DIRECTLY on the hoodie, the guy stuck the white texts on a black sticker first, and then ironed the black sticker on a black hoodie. It looked incredibly weird, unnatural, and just done poorly. I walked around the gym asking four people what they thought of my hoodie, and nobody could force themselves to be polite. Everyone told me the hoodie looked VERY weird. But most importantly, I think it looks weird. It just amazes me how common sense and basic artistic judgement are lacking in this artist, to the point where everyone else could see how the work was flawed, but he could look at the work and convince himself that it looks great. The worst part is that this is MY hoodie he printed on, so he ruined my hoodie. When I asked him to replace or pay for my wrecked hoodie, he refused.
