Great customer care and very helpful, Jose knows his stuff as well as the others not much to pick from but what they do have is very well taken care of

I just got home from this Petland after buying a portion of blood worms for my fish. I noticed when I got here that all the worms were dead. I don't care much for the money that I paid for them, but feeding old, dead worms to my fish could have possibly gotten them sick and killed them. I would have understood if I it was a mistake made by a new employee, but it was the store's manager who gave it to me, so there isn't any excuse.

Every time Im in the neighborhood (no mine) I ask questions about my turtle. The entire staff is nice and helpful...even throughout their various moves!

The animals are always in tiny cages, the birds have NO toys in the cage, the parrots are in cages that are to small for them, but then the bars are to big so that they can fit there heads throw and get stuck. when i was talking about this with a friend one of the workers rudely interrupted me and was like 'they had toys but they destroy them' with an attitude so i answered back 'yea, that is the point. it gives them something to do so they dont pluck' and she answered back with 'we cant afford to just give them toys so they can break them' so i said 'then dont have animals in the store you cant care for'.
the birds are WAY over priced, 100s of dollars more then you would pay if you just went to a breeder or a store that actually care for them. the lizards are also over priced, and always look to skinny. Was in there awhile ago looking at the hamsters and a worker came over to 'help' and picked the hamsters up i was thinking about buying and DROPPED it on the floor TWICE!!! and then i was like okay dont pick it up again, and decided to get a different one because god only knows what damage that did to the poor thing so i picked a different one and went to pick it up myself but he insisted and DROPPED THAT ONE TOO!! so obviously i did not end up getting a hamster. i will never buy any animal from this store, dont even want to give them any of my money. i hope they close down

The most rudest staff I've ever encountered.

The FAT MAN, which is the manager, was completely rude. I had a few questions about Lizards and he was giving me half ass answers. Kept asking me if that was all and trying to rush me. His workers are rude as well and ghetto. Shouting to each other from across the store with no professional manners at all.

I'm frightened to even think if they take care of those poor animals well enough.
Although they WERE the only place that sells things for lizards, rabbits, birds, etc. since Petco has opened on 238th St, I hope they get themselves shut down with that competition.

I rather go shop at Petco where theres friendly and well educated staff.
