Petland Discounts - Paterson

This aweful manager i recently came across i will dare and say her name Paola. She has the worst attitude against cuatomers always, never wanting to help and demands her employees to do her job. Customer for years but hate it coming her when she is there. Aweful experience.

I've been coming here to this specific store for so many years, lately though there has been some quite interesting changes. From the 10 managers that changed in 1 year to the rotating of the staff. I'm pretty sure these changes were made for a reason but I'm glad they were done although I must admit that the new manager there (I believe her name is Paola) is one of the rudest of them all, not only that but her knowledge about animals is bleak and not to mention, I couldn't understand a word she said. maybe they should switch her off instead. then we have this tall gal, very pretty, still lacking stamina, but her pet knowledge it's great. There it's the little black Hispanic kid that is very attentive but gets off the topic, and the other chick with the quarter coin size hearings, she knows her reptiles but lacks knowledge elsewhere. I haven't seen this robust man with long hair and tattoos allover so I guess he left, he was not manager material (always on cloud nine it appeared.) There is this one kid with the glasses though, who stood out, very attentive, very knowledgeable patient and courteous. Initially I thought he was the manager because his humor is just inviting, he took his time to explain to me what I already knew and I think he has what it takes to make stores hip, very pleased. I didn't realize I had spent over 200 bucks up until I left, this guy sold his aura basically lol. Over all my experiences at this spot are good and they have a wide selection of products, I also like that you can call ahead to check if they can order something you need. Very clean and tidy and they commit to their opening and closing times, very happy about that. I recommend it here.

They are courteous and very knowledgeable. Wonderful experience even when I get there 5 minutes before closing because I work too much and they understand I still need my food for my Chinese water dragon.

Overall it's a great store!!

The paterson new jersey store is the worst!!! they have very POOR POOR POOR POOR POOR POOR inventory!!! I don't understand how they run out of basic dog food and i have to go travel out side of my city to find some other pet store where i know they are well stock we should not have to wait weeks for dog food dry and can!!1
