I needed to have the soles replaced on a favorite pair of boots.....$60.00...not even a leather sole, plastic. Then I asked for taps on the toes and heels of another pair of boots.....$5.00 per tap and I had to demand that he glue as well as nail the taps in (nailed taps fall off in a few days without heavy shoe repair glue.....$20 bucks just seemed to be a bit ridiculous for what use to cost $2-5. Wouldn't know the quality of their work as I walked out.

Pretty sure the guys name is most certainly not 'Peter' but 'Ali Baba'. Extremely rude and overpriced. Wouldn't give a flat rate price list on the phone, and when arriving at the shop quoted $97 for only three pairs, wouldn't ever recommend this shop as there is another repair shop based in Central Avenue who charged a reasonable $76 instead.. Do not go into Peters shoe shop, typical Arab outfit trying to rip people off

Took five pairs of shoes and boots to get polished. One pair of boots in particular, was set to be a more difficult job due to the color. The owner advised me that he would need to wash the shoes first which might end up discoloring the shoe. He offered to not charge me for the job if it didn't turn out the way I had hoped. Thankfully the shoe came out beautifully!
