Petco Pet Store

People are help, but it seems calling is terrible for most of these stores because they automatically hang up after 5 minutes when on hold. That's not enough time to hear back to see if something is in stick.

Bought 3 hamsters (after being told by the employees that they were social and have to stay with at least another one) ... One got really hurt due a fight! Went to the store to ask for the vet (30 day guarantee) and the management woman said that I had to return and get a new one!!! She would not even listen to me, was really rude all the time, sarcastic, didn't care at all for the hamster! So, I said that I did not wanted to return and that I was going to a vet... She discriminated me, suggesting that I did not have the money...
Don't expect to have the guarantee or anything! They make up polices that ARE NOT on the contract! Actually, there is nothing on the contract, so they can do whatever they want!
Lastly, I am sure that this woman hates animals! She was talking like they were objects!
Just for the record: I did not return to get the free doctor because she strongly implied that I would not see him again!

GROOMING SALÓN: NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

My poor dog suffered like hell while they did an AWFUL Grooming to her. She has never looked so TERRIBLE!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. I called them to ask if i can donate my fish and the lady asked why and while i was giving my reason, she had such an arrogance and replied "i don't even want to here it" and then transferred my call. I was so upset. I wasn't mean nor was i mean to the fish i bought 3 days ago. Reason i didn't want the fish was because he wasn't happy in my tank. When i put him back in his original container he seemed really happy. I did not want a refund. Just wanted to give my fish back to petco so that someone else can make him happier :/ ruined my entire day. Stupid employee... I was super nice too :(

2/20/15. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I just called here to see if I could return a pair of dog boots that were gifted to me without a receipt. I was told I could return them for store credit if I had a PETCO card. I couldn't remember if I had ever signed up for a card so I asked if she could look it up in the computer.

She told me she couldn't look up my name because 1) she worked in the grooming department, which isn't by the computers and 2) she'd have to look through thousands of names and phone numbers-- as if the computers don't have a search function. She said I had to come in person and speak with someone at the register if I wanted them to check and see if I have a card.
