I had Pet Watcher's walk my dog during the day while I was at work. On three separate occassions my dog became severely ill with food bloat. Unfortunately it took me 3 trips to the emergency room and over $1,000 in vet bills to figure out the problem. On the third trip the vet induced vommiting and my dog threw up 6 cups of food!! I only feed him 1.5 cups a day! My dog was in awful shape for over a week and I had to stay home with him while he recovered.
The people that walked my dog were very nice people just did not know how to care for a dog. They either left him unattended with a ton of food or fed him way too much. I left them instructions to use his food as treats only. By the way, there was no way my dog could have accessed his food b/c it is kept in a sealed container.
I understand that people make mistakes and when they do they should take responsibility. Unfortunately the owner of the business would not cover the the vet bills and still charged me $300 for the services! Writing this review is was my last resort because I hate to see small companies get a bad reputation for mistakes but when a company makes a mistake and doesn't take responsibility the public deserves to know.
