After taking the time and money to come to this place (not to mention even after passing the TABE test) I ended up wasting my time. Once you pass the TABE test they tell you that there's a panel interview however they don't tell you that there's another test until you walk in for the second interview. This test was extremely difficult and they only give you 15 minutes to answer every all 18 questions! If you have test anxiety don't bother.

Per scholas itself is a very reputable school which offers IT certifications and I've been told it was a great school to attend for IT. However, I've called numerous times and reception would either hang up on my phone call or not direct me to the correct party and when I called back, they would ignore my call. I found this to be very unprofessional and it makes the process of finding out necessary information about start dates and requirements, etc very difficult.

Misleading recruitment. They are doing a randomized experiment so you might get the computer classes and you might not, it is by random selection that you get picked after all the paperwork and tests.

Per Scholas is an awesome organization that helped the New Orleans Public Library after Hurricane Katrina. They donated computers that were badly needed. Excellent people!
