I've been going to Pequannock Automotive since they opened,(30 years). Gary, the owner , always has the customers best interests at heart. Charlie and all the other mechanics are skilled and eager to please and Joan somehow keeps it all organized. A top notch family business, honest hard working people. It's hard to find a place like this!

Really great experience. We had just moved down here from out of state and needed minor body work done. We were referred to Pequannock Automotive by a family member and I'm so glad we tried them. When I called to make an appointment the gentleman (maybe the owner?) suggested I swing by (right then and there) and at the least they could take a look; he did warn me that they don't really do body work, but he was willing to at least check it out. So we did and was told if I wanted to wait about half an hour they'd take care of it for me (minor dent in front bumper/license plate reinstalled.) I was surprised and pleased to find out they were able to do it without an appointment/leaving the car for most of the day. 30 minutes!

Pros: Minimal charge, short wait, no appointment needed, friendly service, good looking work!

When I lived in Pequannock for 5 years I always been servicing my cars with Pequannock Automotive including some bigger jobs like clutch and timing belt replacement, wheel alignment. Was totally happy with the job. I moved to another town after that and did some repairs on my cars myself recently - for fun. I was pleasantly surprised to see what good job these guys did to every screw they took out. Anti seize compound added to the thread, never overtightened screws, all jobs done nice and neat. Not the cheapest place in town but great quality.
