Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service

I bought a replacement lightbulb for my Civic and asked them to put it on. The staff at Pep Boys told me to wait 2 hours. No appointment was written or documented. Since I was in the area, this was not a problem. I came back after 2 hours and they said to wait 2 more. FOR A LIGHTBULB! The staff is probably less eager to fix my issue because its not a "big" job. I wouldn't put it past them.

STS is right next door. I recommend going to STS rather than Pep Boys for any auto service needs. The guys over there were very friendly and resolved all my auto service needs.

For the record when I say "them" I am referring to STS rather than Pep Boys.

I went to buy a brake spray to avoid my brake noice so I asked one of the workers about what I need he went and told me to use this product and I sprayed on my brake give me red color
So I went back to ask and returned
The manager in charge with attitude said
This product is used already and there is any default on it so we can returne it
I try to explain to here that one of your worker give the wrong spray and the wrong information about this product
She refused
In the end this was the worst pep boys ever to go in with a manager like this

Very bad experience when i booked my appointment online for 7pm and excuse office at 4 to reach there ontime and when i asked for service they refused me as they dont take any car after 6 and said its not our problem if system booked you.

On May 12, 2015, I was towed to Pep Boys as my car had shut down in the middle of a busy intersection. When I got there and they checked out my vehicle, they advised me the car had simply "run out of gas". I advised them, according to the gas meter, I still had a little over empty so I should have had some gas in there. They advised me they checked the tank and it was empty so they do not know why the meter would read I had gas in the car.

I expressed to them there was an issue and they ignored me, telling me instead to take the car back to the where I bought it from to have them drop the tank to examine it as they could not (they advised me my warranty would not cover them doing so). They also advised me to try to get a tune up to see if that might be why the car seems to guzzle so much gas.

When I brought the car back to B&B Automotive (who I bought the car from) to get the tune up, I was told by the service department that Pep Boys had advised the warranty department the car just ran out of gas and did not mention the request for a tune up to be completed so the car company would not do anything about the gas gauge issue.

On July 17, 2015, I had to take my car back to B&B Automotive just for them to tell me there was indeed something wrong with the fuel gauge (something I told Pep Boys repeatedly and ignored me). Pep Boys let me drive off with a car that was having issues when they had the approval from my warranty company to check for and fix any and all issues which they refused to do. In them doing that, it cost me money and time which I have NOT been compensated for.

This place is the worst! I ordered brake pads from them twice online, after I recieved an email instructing me to wait until im notified to go pick up my parts. Problem was they never notified me after waiting a couple of days I went in to inquire about my order to then have the cashier be very rude to me, so I cancelled the order. I then ordered them again and parts could not be shipped to my home so I chose the pick up option. After waiting for 4 day I called only to be told that they dont have the part nor do any stores around the area. I then asked them if it was possible to order them from warehouse and they denied my request. I will not be returning to this place.
