People for animals is an amazing place to take your pets, the staff is always kind and willing to help, and they did a fantastic job doing a minor surgery on my cat.

The greatest place to take your pet! The staff are warm (and hard-working); they always make an effort to answer your questions and to explain things. Aside from that, though, their pricing can't be beat -- the clinic I first contacted about neutering my cat quoted $350 (!!!). My landlady recommended PFA. Their rate is $100, which you are never going to find anywhere else. Do check out their website, thoroughly, because they offer discounts, etc., for people on fixed incomes & shuttle buses, if you don't have a car. TIP: You are to get your pet there at 8:15 to sign in for neutering/spaying...the one thing not mentioned is that there is a solid line waiting for the doors to open, so get there 20+ minutes before the doors open (the line does move, though, so it's not tragic or anything, if you don't get there earlier). Also, the microchipping thing is a tiny bit confusing, as far as the global registration afterward, so make sure to ask lots of questions on that one. People for Animals cannot be beat, though: When I picked up my cat at 4:30, as instructed, I could tell he had been treated well -- no tell-tale signs of trauma or distress at all. Lastly, he recovered 10 billion times quicker than the precautions they give you. Can't ask for anything better! :):):)

Great place. Great doctors and staff. I have 6 pets and all have been spayed/ neutered at PFA. They get their shots and micro chips here. I highly recommend them.

Thanks to the assembly line approach to their clinic, my animal developed a low grade respiratory infection and fever. The vet bill to fix this was more than what I paid to neuter my cat to begin with. Further more, my vet informed me the medication given was inappropriate for pain and these idiots tattoed my cat in the wrong place.

People for Animals did a truly outstanding job with my dog's neutering procedure. From the moment we arrived it was apparent that all of the employees love animals. My dog was well taken care of from check-in to release.

If you're looking for the best place to bring your pet for spaying or neutering, you have found it. People for Animals is the place to go, regardless of price. Don't feel like you are compromising your pets care in any way just because People for Animals charges reasonable rates. The Drs are first-rate, the entire staff is professional and reassuring and answered all of my many questions to calm my nerves. The faculty is immaculately clean. What else can I say; they are the best hands down.

If I have any other advice to give as a result of my experience, I would say get there early. People will be lined up with their pets outside and the earlier you get there, the less time you will spend checking in. We got there a little bit late and still only had to wait about ten minutes so it's not bad either way. My dog likes to bark at other dogs it's just the way he plays but we were placed in a private room to wait for his pre-surgery examination.

We went to pick him up at 330 as instructed. Once again we formed a short line and our Pals were brought out one by one. We were given thorough after care instruction sheets and they even called the next day to check on how our little furbutt was doing. I was impressed not only by that call but by the entire experience at People for Animals. I am grateful to the entire staff for earning a five star rating! Thank you for taking care of our much loved, very spoiled mutt as if he were your own.
