Will never go back here…The worst customer service and ethics ever!!! I would not advise anyone to go this club/restaurant! The managers, particularly Benny Ramos, are liars and could care less if they lose your valuables in their mandatory coat check. They pretend that they will reimburse you for their mistakes then avoid you as much as possible.
On New Year’s Eve night I attended the party at the Penthouse 808 rooftop. There was a mandatory coat check so I checked in my coat and some flat leather boots. After the party, I went to gather my items from one of the several attendants from coat check. I should’ve known something was wrong when the attendant only brought back my coat, went back a second time to search for my boots, then never returned to the coat check area. I asked the manager, Benny Ramos, about my missing shoes.
He went to look for them then told me that one of the attendants gave my boots to another customer. He told me that he would pay me back for the cost of my shoes, $180, and for my cab fare home, $20. He apologized several times, gave me his card and told me to contact him for reimbursement. 3 days later, I called his cell phone, which rang out and his voice mail box was full, sent him an email and even left a message with the receptionist at his office. After several calls, I got in contact with him, and he told me he would mail a check to my home address. Several days go by with no check in the mail. I make numerous calls, left numerous voice messages, messages with several different employees but never a return call from Benny Ramos or another manager. I went back in person at Penthouse 808 and confronted Benny. He tells me a story that the check was mailed, he now has to cancel it and cannot give me money on the spot. Apologizes several times that he never got any of my messages and that he will resend my check. Its now the middle of February and I have yet to receive a check. Smh…
