My son was crying all day long attending this day care. He can sense how unfriendly those care providers are. Both assistants and main teacher don't have enough patience. This center doesn't have enough labor to work there, mostly are part time workers.
My son's baby class teachers were not professional and with negative attitude toward those new kids who cries. They couldn't give us the confidence that my kid will receive great care ; they couldn't give us a secure feeling that my kids will be nicely treated. They are not friendly if your newly-attend-school kid cries. They don't have professional way to calm babies down and they think those crying babies are trouble, making their jobs harder. That's why they only welcome those babies who won't cry. If you baby cries, they hated it and gave you attitude.
As a care provider, they performed not qualified since they don't have sufficient love in heart to welcome and take care of kids, especially babies. My son almost lost his voice with rashes on face and swollen eyes after crying so hard...because no one in the class really know how to take are of him. That's why we have changed day care to other place. He is much happier in other place and likes going to school every day.
If you are looking for day care, do research first, especially think twice before you enroll into this peek a boo learning center. I won't recommend it to anyone.

If you like constant staff turnover and an apathetic attitude from management regarding your parental concerns this is the daycare for you. There are obvious DOH violations Books and Rattles continues to make but does not correct. 11 toddlers per 1 teacher is unacceptable. The staff is very nice, though unfortunately it seems that they don't get the support and guidance they need from management to effectively do their jobs.

This school is an absolute disgrace to all pre-schools. Since when does the City of NY allow places to open of this caliber. Please check for violations in this place. First, from Health and Mental Hygiene. Then from the Department of Labor. Then you should call the CPSE (Continuing Pre-School Education) for the misappropriations of funds that this administration uses. The children have little or no supplies to use in this school. More importantly, there are no proper ceilings to this place. THIS IS COMPLETE SENSORY OVERLOAD FOR ANY CHILD! There is never a quiet moment for children to concentrate without a teacher screaming at them. There is an incredible turnover of staff, unlike many other preschools, because the administration staff (executive director) is more concerned with her personal financial success and as a result the program suffers considerably. AS A FORMER EMPLOYEE, I would strongly recommend that a parent should do their homework before they send their child to a school similar to that of a hell hole.
THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN. I will continue to write reviews and continue to call city and state agencies to further investigate the practices of this school.
