It's incredibly good. The fried chicken is the best I've ever eaten. The sides are all delicious. The waiters are terrific. Special shout out to the adorable Allan. The crowds are cool. It's a great place. Good food. Good people. Good vibe. Good prices. What are you waiting for ? Seriously.

the food is amazing, the service is a bit slow but wait staff is nice and that makes up for it. minus 1 for the consistent wait times, and poor logistics (unused tables sit idle as ppl line up for food due to understaff). also, they should expand a bit... but not as to lose that small resturant charm

Amazing!!! The crispy grits are everything!! The atmosphere is small and cozy, which makes it feel like you're eating at a friend's house. I ordered the BBQ shrimp with crispy grits which was amazing. The BBQ sauce was to die for. For the main course I had their hot wings and macaroni and cheese. As a black person who grew up on southern cooking/soul food I usually steer clear of it when it comes to going out because I don't find anything that lives up to my grandma's cooking, but this spot is the exception! I was very impressed.
