Paveco Saddle

I wish I could rate this company in the negative.
We contracted Paveco to fix our drive way. We were looking to install a form of french drain, and resurface our drive way.
The gentleman that came, whom I believe to be the owner, was very polite, and had great ideas, and we decided to contract with him.
We were told to give him a deposit of $1,900.00 a little over half of the total amount, and he would start the work in apx. 4-6 weeks. That was our biggest mistake.
It is now 6 months later, and the work has not even started. We called the company several times over these six months, inquiring as to when the serves would be rendered, with excuse upon excuse. We eventually called and said just refund our money. If it is this difficult to get them to preform the work, imagine if we need them to fix something that goes wrong with their work.
As you can imagine, we have yet to receive our deposit back.
We have decided to go the legal route to obtain our refund, and have contacted the Better Business Bureau. We wanted to warn future customers of our headache with this company.

I hired Paveco Paving to repave our driveway in the summer of 2012 with a 3-year guarantee, which was written on the receipt upon completion. After the 2012-2013 winter, the new driveway began to show cracks, and the owner, Robert, promised to have them fixed. Unfortunately for me, after more than two years and numerous phone conversations and messages, those promises remain promises. Nothing has been done to fix the cracks, which have become larger and longer due to neglect.

If you are considering Paveco, please assume the guarantee is useless and price the job accordingly. Alternatively, withhold a portion of the payment for the duration of the guarantee.
