This is my staple diner in the neighborhood. It's clean and food is good. Breakfast is the best at this diner. Service is not the best but better than the nearby offerings.

Sub par food and service. Service and management is just not good. The only thing worse is take out or delivery. There is ALWAYS sone thing missing or wrong. They definitely paid for the award of best diner 2015.

I had been coming for the last month or so, once or twice a week. The service, ultimately, is not good. This last visit convinced me to put it on my "Do not return" list.
I waited for ten minutes for someone to take my order, and then another 5 minutes to be served a glass of water - and only because I got up to go ask at the hostess desk. The order, came soon enough, but I was out of water. I figured someone would be around soon to refill it... waited....waited... nothing. I got up and requested a refill with cup in hand. The waitress took my glass, filled it with water and went around me to put it on the table, while I was standing right in front of her. Just no concept of service. I left my panini untouched. Will not be back.

The food is very good in Parkview...as long as you DO NOT make a phone order for delivery. I say this because I had the worse phone order experience one could ever have. Besides the fact that my soda was not included (in the bag nor on the receipt), these people neglected to send half of the food I had paid $25 for (which was basically a hot open sandwich deluxe--which came in cold---and a slice of pie...if that's not over-charging you can call me Queen Elizabeth III). When I finally received the missing items (an hour after I called the diner the second time) it looked like someone had sat on it (my vote goes to the delivery dude). When I tried to to speak to the manager, I was kept on hold for 30 minutes (with them picking up then putting it back on hold from time to time) until I was finally cut off. Needless to say, I called back and when I was told the manager was too busy, I totally lost my head (mind you, I still haven't eaten). The manager finally did call me back to offer credit on the next phone order but I told him that I would NEVER order over the phone again. So, since I had such a WONderful experience, I've rated Parkview Diner 4 stars for the food and double-minus 0 for delivery--one minus because the phone order dude who kept misunderstanding what I was saying, and the other minus because of the delivery dude who brought me cold and smashed food (Unfortunately, I had to put a star or I wouldn't be able to send this).
