It was shabby. There were old plastic table cloths from the dollar store taped to the tables with holes in them.

Nice atmosphere, good music, real artists. Too bad the high prices for drinks and the attitude of the bar personnel were not in line with the overall good experience.

$17 for a coke and a shot of Jameson.... I fully expect high prices on this island, but that don't seem right....

Quirky, baffling, utterly unpretentious - and amazing live music! Can't believe the hipsters haven't swarmed this place by now!

For the one and only remaining live jazz dive in Harlem, in the same location and under the same ownership 45 years and going strong. 79 year old Sam Hargress, Jr. is still making it happen with LIVE music 7 nights a week, never a cover (nights) and always free food, it's the place to be for the AUTHENTIC Harlem Jazz experience!
