the previous review makes no sense at all Paradox is a COSTUME jewelry store - it does not sell real jewelry and does not pretend to nor do they do repairs on jewelry bought elsewhere I am very happy with the very FAKE jewelry I purchased there

Amazing!
Fay was the nicest sweetest person I ever met, there is another girl Bella there, both are so helpful.
Its weird I never write reviews at all unless its a bad experience then I go and write a review, but sometimes you have to show appreciation as well.
I went there as a groom, and had to buy all kinds of fashion jewelry for my mom and my bride,, we will not get into how I usually go to Tiffanys, but times are a bit hard now...
I passed this store on my way to a real estate meeting, and I almost missed it because it is so small, I walked in, and was treated like an old friend, I am not "culturally compatible" to these people (I dont know if these people is politically correct) but the warmth in which they treated me and walked me through the entire process (since jewelry is really not my thing) ..I was very appreciative.
Thanks so much, and I hope everyone gets to at least check out this store, because every piece there is unique, so I dont have to worry they will see the same thing for cheaper or somewhere else. Good to know there are still mom and pop shops out there struggling to survive and compete.

My husband brought my wedding ring to Paradox to be re-sized. The day I received the ring back, one of the diamonds surrounding the centerstone fell out. I brought the ring and the diamond back to them to be re-set. When I received the ring back, the stone had been replaced with a CZ that had been glued instead of set. When I confronted the proprietor, he responded that there was "no way" he had done such shoddy work and accused me of bringing it to another jeweler. He said would "only" charge me his cost to re-set the stone for a second time.
On the same visit, we had brought a watch with a band that was beginning to crack. When I came to pick it up, the band was completely torn off and the entire watch was covered in superglue. The proprietor told me that he was unable to fix the watch and that he had tried to "do me a favor" by attempting to glue the band.
Paradox Jewelers are not to be trusted and I would recommend that anyone who has previously purchased jewelry from them, should bring it to an actual jeweler to be sure the stones are genuine!!!
