Pappy's Diner

I like this place. They serve good diner food. I especially like their fish and chips. When I went there the bathroom was clean. And the servers were pleasant.

Been here 50 years for a reason. Love the burgers! Go Pappy's!

Will never return, and this from a customer who has been there many times over the past years. Absolutely the worst behavior I've ever experienced by the so-called "waitress" and her cohort in the kitchen. Too long a story to get into; suffice to say that we were accused of leaving without paying our check (not true); the kitchen cretin insulted my wife after she took too much time in his bathroom (if the men's room is any indication of what its like in the ladies room it's hard to believe anyone could last longer than just a few minutes in there); to make matters worse our lovely waitress, who always spend too much time making unintelligible jokes and not enough seeing to the needs of the table, threatened to call the police (!) because my wife took too long in there! Never mind that she could have been ill from their food, which is pretty much standard diner fare at best.
Totally classless, rude behavior- would not recommend this place to my worst enemy now.

First time in Pappy's. My company moved to Totowa from Passaic and the local HOT GRILL in Clifton. No worries, Pappy's serves Texas Wieners hot and fresh. Delicious Hot Dogs with an outstanding Chili Sauce. Only 3 stars because the place was a little dumpy, even with the amazing oak woodwork and huge Grandfather clock. To me this will be a Burger and Dog place and I will try the Pappy's special Char Broiled Rib Eye Steak Sandwich...........next time. Try the place for the Texas Wieners ALL THE WAY!

Ive lived in totowa 42 yrs they were much better when they were a trailer who wants to look at a old greek women pickin her nose then serve my food and it did happen they both look like they haven't showered in weeks they are to cheap to hire front people stay away horrible and they are always empty what does that tell u food is not turnd around old
