Last evening our group of 4 went to see "Bronx Tale". It was outstanding. We have seen the original one man show (Chazz Palmateri) on broadway and also seen the movie and last night's program was equal to both. The staging, production, music, lighting we all first rate. I am writing this review with only one negative comment, the sound clarity in the mezzanine was very poor. We could not make out the words of some of the performers. I don't know if was our seat placement or just a poor audible system. We experienced this also when we saw " The Bandstand" but thought it possible fluke. Please make an attempt to correct this since similar comments were made by others attendees around us.

I was severely disrespected when I was falsly accused of recording the performance. I couldn't have been more upset. I could clearly see at least 3 others in the audience using their handsets during the performance and yet me and my party were singled out. I could understand if I was disturbing others in the audience with my phone out while I researched the performance, but that wasn't even mentioned. We were thrown out for completely erroneous accusations.

The Paper Mill Playhouse is the next best thing to actually visiting a Broadway production. Time and again, I've been awed by the wonderful theatrical productions showcased in this humble but powerful space. My review is not or any single production, but for the management and core staff that help to deliver hit after hit, in big city style. Kudos to them all. I look forward to my next visit.
