Panera Bread

I have been going to this Panera for many years but had not been there in a few months. Went in today to find out they had made some changes to the staff and decor. The new colors of paint on the walls looked great, but the place was so DIRTY and MESSY that I was disgusted. The person who seemed to be the manager seemed busy / seeing someone in the cashier department and I did not bother speaking to him after I asked him for a paper menu and he said if there were none in the front then they were out of them. (Apparently they were out of them.) There were napkins and bits of food all over the floor, everywhere there was carpeting was food and debris that had not been swept up, there was stuff on the floor in the area that I could see leading to the kitchen and prep area, the beverage areas were filthy and not properly stocked with supplies. I walked through the place a couple times inspecting, then took my mother and left. Was so upset that I did not dare to order food and eat in a FILTHY place!

With these franchises, it's the staff that makes it lovely.

Good service, lots of electric outlet but only three stars because of extremely slow internet.

Terrible Service, Rude Manager, Long Lines! Usually only one cash register is open. Meaning you stand in line with families ordering food, even if all you want is a cup of coffee or pastry or bread. And then the person manning the register takes off to, say slice bread for a customer, while no one is manning the counter. Horrendous wait times!

Meanwhile, the wonderfully rude manager sits somewhere inside the store instead of helping the stressed out register operators.

Excellent service! The people who work here have wonderful personalities. It's very comfortable and the coffee is great.
