I've been a Type I diabetic for 22 years, and this was by far the worst endocrinologist I have ever been to.
She prescribed me more than double Lantus I need, which would have killed me in my sleep if I followed her instructions. Also, she encouraged returning to a pump, which I had a negative experience with for several years before going back on MDI therapy. When I would remind her of this, she'd scoff and tell me I should do it anyway. She seems to only think about Type II diabetes, even suggesting I try out a pump-like device that wasn't geared for Type I diabetics (based on insulin capacity and bolus needs). I have to say her staff is extremely pleasant, unlike the doctor herself.
If you just want an Rx filled, I'd recommend Dr. Panah for a temporary solution. But if you want effective treatment and somebody who considers your individual diabetes needs, look elsewhere. There are so many other endos in NNJ, nobody deserves crappy medical care.
