We used to hold our mom's group here every week on the upstairs level. The coffee is so-so and the baked goods are spotty, but the staff is very nice. Try the black and white cookies. I just wonder how often those butter cookies turn over. The place is rarely crazy busy. Got a very nice birthday cake here a few years ago for my daughter.

Why go to Starbucks, when you can walk a few blocks and go to Palumbo. You can just get a coffee and a table, or you can add cake, pasteries or sandwiches. If you want to sit down for a while, it's right here.
