The guinness tastes like water. The bartender was really helpful and kind to one person. No music, just a movie that is really not funny or cool.

This Greenpoint bar attracts and entices locals with their cheap libations and...heavy metal? Yes, heavy metal tunes blast out of the jukebox! The small room near the entrance is cozy and filled with chairs and tables; it’s perfect for small group gatherings with friends and is less ideal for a quiet, romantic date. This front room is so casual that it really does live up to its cafe name as I saw a girl studying on her laptop while sipping beer! The back room, in contrast, is a very large and airy room that is colored by velvet curtains, a fake fireplace, and extravagant paintings. Reserve the back room for private parties.

Used to be Goodwins, a great bar. Cool place to have a beer.. Pre- takeover by the movie industry that is..Now I propose when they do host the various media companies that infest the entire neighborhood they follow with discounted prices for all their neighbors that are inconvenienced, in terms of parking, etc.
Least they can do..and I guess fat chance.

The atmosphere it great. Good music, good brews, friends, and history. The only drawback is parking kinda sucks
