I wouldn't go anywhere else! The prices are great and the service is amazing. A great little store with a big heart. Knowledgeable staff that really went the extra mile. The owner, Bernard really cares about his customers.

I have been refinishing my deck only with Home Depot Behr products for 17 years. The finish has become spotty so I go to HD for advice. Nobody knows nothing. I decide to try my local Benjamin Moore dealer Bernie. The guy is great, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to give any advice you need. I will be returning more often for my painting projects. You can not beat local trade experts.

These guys are great. As a contractor for over 10 years I was very happy to find this store. They are knowledgable and friendly. I have sent my wife in on several occasions and they helped her out nicely.

Thank you to the previous reviewer for making me not feel like, it was just me. I do disagree about his Dad though. I had a similar experience with him when I first moved to town. I picked a wall paper for my new sons bedroom. Measured the (only one) wall. The other three I was painting. After placing the order I got a call saying the print was not in stock could I pick another print. I did; but it had different design. I get the paper, put it on my wall and have more than one roll left over. Ok, I brought the unopened roll back. Thinking it was NBD.... WELL! the dad laid into me in the store with aloud voice "I should have had professional measure etc. etc...(my fault of course). I swore I'd never set foot in there again; I was mortified. It was not the last nasty incident with him either. I really think they are not interested in the small buyer, just the contractors.

I have been shopping at Paint and Paper for decades. The owner passed away and his son took over. Unfortnately, the father was unable to pass on his gift for customer service to him. I recently bought a quart of Benjamin Moore paint for the trim in the bathroom. When I opened it, the color seemed off from what I chose. I compared it to the swatch and it was not even close. I painted anyway, hoping that I would get something that might look ok as I was trying to prevent having to return it. The first coat was awful. So, I capped the can, waited for it to dry and put on a second coat with the same results. I brought the paint back today and gave the owner my story. He insisted that the paint was fine when it left the store and that I must have contaminated it between coats. I insisted that this was impossible, but he argued with me in front of other customers just coming short of calling me a liar, and told me that I was stuck with the paint.
Is it worth losing a long time customer over a quart of paint? Because I will never go back there again. I like to support the mom and pop shops, but I refuse to be treated disrespectfully.
I hope that this review will deter readers from patronizing the shop. There are plenty of places in the area to buy paint.
