My son came from P.S. 67 which is the first black school in Brooklyn. I took great pride in that. Unfortunately he only got into fights daily his work was horrible. I mean it horrible. He went into P.S.287 which I found to be the best thing for all of us. They really do care. My son's grades went up drastically and his behavior in school changed, It was like he was a new person. Mrs. Rawlins and all the teachers at 287 treat the students as if it was their child. What more can a parent ask for! He has learned Respect, Dignity and how to work better with others. 287 is for my first choice for any parent looking for a school.
